Operational Requirements Analyst - Business Ops

KBR is seeking a US Space Force (USSF) Operational Requirements Analyst, Business Operation at the Pentagon.

KBR is seeking a US Space Force (USSF) Operational Requirements Analyst, Business Operations at the Pentagon.
    The Operational Requirements Analyst will support the USSF Headquarters Staff, office of the Chief of Strategy and Resourcing (CSRO), Directorate of Space Requirements (S5R).  The USSF is a military service that organizes, trains, and equips space forces in order to protect U.S. and allied interests in space and to provide space capabilities to the joint force. USSF responsibilities include developing Guardians, acquiring military space systems, maturing the military doctrine for space power, and organizing space forces to present to our Combatant Commands.  The Directorate of Requirements is responsible for developing and integrating Joint Space Requirements for the DoD.  
    The Candidate will:
- Interface and perform duties to support the Service integration with the Joint Capabilities Integration process (JCI). 
- Participate in the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) process, to include attending Functional and Joint Capabilities Boards (FCB/JCB) as the USSF representative.
- Review, staff and assess capability development products such as Combatant Command Derived Requirements (CRDs), Mission Area Requirements Documents (MARDs), Rapid Prototyping Requirements Documents (RPRD), and System Requirements Documents (SRD)
- Advise senior leadership in planning, developing, and coordinating capabilities development process actions with the CSRO
- Synthesize data analytics to assess and provide feedback on the capability development artifacts for each program within your requirements branch

Work Environment:

  • Location: On-site, Pentagon

  • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20% to NCR region

  • Working Hours: Standard

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Demonstrated understanding of Space enterprise to include DoD requirements, acquisition, and budgeting processes and applicable Defense Space guidance and policy.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, lead and execute requirements projects and outbrief results to senior leadership.

  • Knowledge of the DoD Requirements and Capability Development processes

  • Joint Capabilities Integration (JCI) and the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC)

  • Experience supporting Service HQ or DoD Agency or IC staffs.

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent, plus 5+ yrs. applicable experience in Service, COCOM, and/or Joint Capabilities development

  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance

Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or a STEM field. Degree in Operational Research a major plus

  • 10+ years experience in an Ops, engineering, scientific, analysis, policy or planning field related to Defense Space

  • HQ AF/SAF staff experience within the past 3 years

  • Experience editing Joint Requirements documentation

  • Experience with space system Acquisitions, the Space Force and Pentagon

  • Experience with staffing tools such as: Task Management Tool (TMT), Knowledge Management/Decision Support (KM/DS)

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

40hrs

Basic Compensation:

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

For Virginia, the compensation will be $130,000K-$150,000K.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
