A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Open Market Parts Financial Analyst, you will serve as a key financial partner supporting the Gas Services North America Open Market Parts organization. Your day will focus on financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and revenue recognition while providing actionable insights that drive business performance and operational decision-making. You'll collaborate closely with Parts & Repairs leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and continuous process improvements that support the organization's strategic objectives.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Perform financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and detailed financial analysis to support business decisions, monitor revenue and margin performance, and provide meaningful insights into financial results and key performance indicators
  • Manage month-end and quarterly financial activities, including revenue recognition, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement preparation, management reporting, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls
  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports and reporting packages using SAP and other financial systems, providing variance analysis and recommendations to business leadership and supporting external audit requirements
  • Partner with Parts & Repairs leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial guidance, improve operational performance, support strategic initiatives, and communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency by leveraging technology, implementing best practices, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
  • Foster strong business partnerships while ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and accurate financial reporting that supports customer commitments and organizational objectives

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, or a related corporate finance role
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounting principles, financial reporting, revenue recognition, and construction accounting concepts, including completed performance method application
  • Experience utilizing SAP and Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis; experience with analytical and visualization tools such as Alteryx and Tableau is preferred
  • Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently in a fast-paced environment, and effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels
