Full Job Description
Client & Project Coordination:
  • Serve as primary onsite interface with client engineering, operations, construction, and project management teams.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and milestone coordination meetings with the client.
  • Capture client requirements, clarifications, and field inputs, and communicate them clearly to offshore teams.
  • Support HAZOP, model reviews, ALARP reviews, constructability, and design review meetings.
  • Proactively identify and resolve engineering, interface, and execution issues.

Technical - Process / Piping Engineering:
Review and coordinate Process & piping deliverables including
:
  1. Heat and Mass Balance.
  2. P&ID.
  3. Process Data sheets.
  4. Instrument Process Data sheet.
  5. Line list.
  6. Cause and Effect.
  7. Piping layouts and 3D models.
  8. Tie ins and brownfield modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, client specifications).
  • Provide onsite inputs related to constructability, accessibility, maintainability, and safety.
  • Support closure of model review, Engineering Document review and closure of comments resolution sheet.
  • Interface Management.

Coordinate interfaces between:
  • Piping and Process.
  • Piping and Civil/Structural.
  • Piping and Mechanical.
  • Piping and Electrical/Instrumentation.
  • Manage vendor and package interfaces (vessels, compressors, skids, valves, etc.).
  • Ensure alignment of piping design with process changes and late-stage modifications.

Field & Site Support:
  • Support site walkdowns, red line markups, tie in identification, and field verification.
  • Coordinate and validate as information.
  • Support construction and commissioning teams with technical clarifications and issue resolution.
  • ssist in resolving RFIs related to Engineering.

Delivery & Quality Assurance:
  • Track offshore engineering progress against schedule and milestones.
  • Ensure first time right quality and adherence to LTTS and client quality standards.
  • Review key deliverables before client submission.
  • Support preparation of engineering progress reports and dashboards.

Governance & Communication:
  • Ensure adherence to LTTS engineering processes and client workflows.
  • Facilitate effective communication between onsite and offshore teams across time zones.
  • Escalate risks, schedule concerns, and quality issues proactively to project leadership.

Key Deliverables:
  • Clear engineering inputs and site data to offshore teams.
  • Timely closure of client comments and RFIs.
  • Coordinated Engineering deliverables meeting quality and schedule commitments.
  • Enhanced client confidence and satisfaction through effective onsite presence.

Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering.

Minimum Experience:
  • Overall: 12-15 years.
  • Core Engineering: Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Process and/or Piping engineering with focus on design and engineering deliverables.

Project & Coordination Exposure (3-5 years):
  • EPC/EPCM projects.
  • Client-facing coordination and stakeholder management.
  • Onsite-offshore model.

Technical Competency:
  • Strong working knowledge of P&ID, HMB, Line List, Datasheets, C&E etc.
  • Experience in 3D model reviews and interface resolution.

Codes & Standards:
  • SME B31.3 (mandatory).
  • B31.4 / B31.8 (good to have).

Interface & Vendor Coordination:
  • Proven experience in Cross-discipline coordination (Process, Piping, Civil, Mechanical, E&I) & Vendor / package interface management (equipment, skids, valves, etc.).
