Main Duties & Responsibilities

The OneStream Lead serves as the functionalowner and subject matter expert for the OneStream platform, leading dailyadministration, supporting end-users, and building reports and dashboards.Responsibilities include assisting with system configurations, troubleshootingissues, conducting training, and partnering with finance and IT teams tooptimize the platform for financial close, consolidation, planning, andreporting. This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Bloomfield Hills, Michigan location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
System Administration:
- Lead the administration and governance of the OneStream platform, including metadata, data integrations, security profiles (working with TriMas IT), and workflows.
- Establish standards and best practices for platform maintenance and governance.

User Support and Training:
- Act as the primary point of contact for user support, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training sessions related to TriMas' implementation and on an ongoing basis to enhance user proficiency.

Reporting and Analytics:
- Lead the design and development of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support financial and management reporting. Champion reporting standardization and identify opportunities to expand OneStream capabilities across the organization.
- Completion of OneStream's report writing course and maintaining OneStream "power user" knowledge through further OneStream course offerings.
- Continuously enhance reporting functionality by leveraging advanced OneStream features and best practices.

CorporateAccounting and Consolidations:
- Guide the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process, including data validation, intercompany eliminations, ownership structures, foreign currency translation, and consolidation adjustments.
- Partner with Corporate Accounting to ensure OneStream metadata, account mappings, entity hierarchies, reporting structures, workflows, and close tasks support accurate consolidated financial reporting.
- Champion the design, maintenance, and execution of consolidation controls, including data-load validations, certification workflows, exception reporting, and review procedures.
- Monitor corporate close submission status, resolve system or data issues, and help business units meet close and reporting deadlines.
- Develop and maintain consolidation-related reports and outputs used for internal management reporting, external reporting support, audit support, and executive-level analysis.

Application Management:
- Lead the design, configuration, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of OneStream applications, including business rules, cube views, and calculation scripts.

Collaboration:
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and align system capabilities with business strategy.
Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, IT, and external implementation partners.

Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve system issues, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure system stability.

Documentation:
- Create and maintain technical documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications
- Expertise with the OneStream platform is essential, including experience with metadata, workflows, reporting, data validations, security, and integrations. Familiarity with tools such as Excel is also beneficial.
- Strong background in corporate performance management, corporate accounting, financial consolidations, reporting, FP&A, and U.S. GAAP accounting principles is required.
- Strong understanding of consolidation processes, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, ownership structures, consolidation adjustments, close calendars, and financial statement reporting.
- Ability to translate corporate accounting and consolidation requirements into effective OneStream configurations, reports, workflows, validations, and process improvements.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system, data, and reporting issues; perform root cause analysis; and develop practical solutions to user and close-related problems.
- Strong communication skills are needed to train users and collaborate effectively with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, IT, segment finance teams, and other technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, attention to detail, and time management skills are important for a fast-paced close and reporting environment.

Preferred:
- Experience in a publicly traded, multi-national manufacturing environment.
- Track record of driving process improvement and implementing reporting technologies.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, or consolidations.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and consolidation principles.
- Experience serving as a functional or technical lead for enterprise financial systems preferred.

Work Location Requirement:
This position requires daily on-site presenceat the corporate office. The essential functions of this role, includingworking with the finance team and collaborating directly with management andglobal finance teams, necessitate regular face-to-face interaction and accessto on-site resources. Remote work is not available for this position.
