Full Job Description
The Oncology Solutions Manager identifies Varian's Professional Services and Clinical Services necessary to improve Clinical, Operational, Financial, and Customer/Patient experiences for Varian customer accounts. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with existing accounts and helping develop new ones. Performance is typically measured by the growth of professional and clinical services to meet or exceed the budget. Successful applicant must also live in Southeast region.
Core Responsibility:
• Develop account penetration strategies for key target accounts and provide management with quarterly reports of progress
• In partnership with Sales, develop & maintain relationships with all key buying influences in each account, including clinical, administrative, and C-suite
• Develop & maintain comprehensive knowledge of each account’s current & long-term challenges & goals, keeping management and colleagues in Sales informed of all key opportunities, including changes in plans, objectives, and key buying influences.
• Confirm that the technologies & software licensing quoted by sales address all customer objectives.
• Develop Scopes of Work (SOWs) that detail the deployment of Professional Services to meet customers’ goals, including timelines.
• Work with Sales to quote Professional Services & Clinical Services & actively drive opportunities to close.
• Applicable to the Oncology Systems business only: The position must have full access to VMS client sites to perform the essential functions of this position. Many VMS clients require VMS employees and representatives to meet certain “Vendor Credentialing” requirements before they can access their sites. Unless prohibited by law, the position must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access and must continue to meet those requirements during VMS employment in this position.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
• Clinical background (i.e RT(T), RN, CMD, PhD)
• A minimum of five years of managerial experience in healthcare administration with experience in Oncology Operations (i.e., Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology
• Travel Required on average 75%
• Ability, competence, and confidence to lead people.
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Proficient in utilizing business tools such as all Microsoft Office Suite products,
• Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software. §
• Passion for Client service and relationship building
• Demonstrates strategic, relevant knowledge and cross-functional experience to include Varian solutions and oncology operations and business
• Shows an understanding of different business models and knows how to bring together complex technologies to create value for our partners and customers
• Ability to work in matrixed and unstructured environments
• Strong multimode communication skills, communicating with all levels across organizations
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with a proven track record of collaboration and consensus building
• Healthcare finance knowledge, including basic organizational P&L
• Demonstrated leadership experience in clinical operations driving strategic and business planning, financial and operational performance
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with a proven track record of collaborative and consensus building
• Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.

The base pay range for this position is:
$128,490 - $176,671
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
