As Onboarding Project Manager, you are responsible for managing the project cycle and delivering solutions that change the healthcare landscape. Youre hands-on and customer-facing at your core - comfortable training users directly, configuring builds, and troubleshooting in real time - and you pick up new workflows quickly, including the day-to-day rhythms of a surgical practice. You are passionate about managing technological projects, a strong communicator, and have great organizational and interpersonal skills. The Project Manager must be collaborative with a penchant for problem-solving in a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end implementation projects, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with clients to gather project requirements and define clear project objectives and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring that project milestones are met on schedule.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success and successful onboarding.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, providing timely updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving any obstacles that may impact the project timeline or deliverables.
- Get hands-on with customers, providing direct training and support throughout the implementation process to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
- Coordinate technical resources to ensure seamless connectivity between Surgimate and other systems customers are using.
- Collaborate with the R&D, Customer Support, and Implementations teams to resolve technical challenges and enhance interoperability.
- Work hands-on to configure Surgimate product builds during the implementation phase.
- Collaborate with the development team to address customization needs and ensure client satisfaction.
- Continuously assess and improve the implementation process by identifying areas for optimization and implementing best practices.
- Roll up your sleeves to help customers refine requirements and configure internal controls, settings, and quality checks.
- Capture details of meetings/events and communicate subsequent notes and action items to relevant parties.
- Lead live customer training sessions, in person or virtually, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications- Project management or SaaS implementation experience a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with surgical scheduling and surgical practice workflows strongly preferred
- Experience working closely with clients.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves - training end users, configuring product builds, and troubleshooting hands-on throughout implementation.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to work independently across multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail and a high level of organizational capability.
- Ability to rapidly grasp and apply complex business and technical concepts.
- Passion for providing the highest quality service to customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions- Remote-first role with occasional travel required
