Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Preferred experience in OBD or emissions calibration or controls.
• Proficiency with INCA, Matlab, and Simulink/Stateflow is necessary.
• Basic understanding of internal combustion engine propulsion systems is required.
• Excellent communication and business acumen needed.
• Self-motivated with strong leadership and interpersonal skills preferred.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and database applications are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop new OBD strategies for gas engine control systems.
• Review system and software designs for compliance and functionality.
• Generate comprehensive test plans for vehicle and test bench resources.
• Manage and validate calibrations for propulsion system programs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, and program management teams.
• Guide instrumentation and utilize data from acquisition software to assess diagnostics.
• Gather functional requirements and execute development milestones for timely product launches.
