The OFSE FP&A Strategic Planning Advisor supports the development and execution of the segment’s long-term financial and strategic planning agenda. This role enables informed decision-making by connecting long-range planning, forecasting, integrated business planning, and enterprise growth priorities into a cohesive financial framework. By partnering across product lines, geozones, functions, and corporate finance teams, the advisor helps drive alignment between strategy, operations, and financial performance while providing executive-level insights to senior leadership.
As an OFSE FP&A Strategic Planning Advisor, you will be responsible for:
• Developing and advancing the OFSE Long-Range Plan (LRP), coordinating inputs across stakeholders and translating strategic assumptions into a coherent multi-year financial outlook.
• Coordinating the six-quarter rolling forecast and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, ensuring alignment between commercial, operational, and financial perspectives while identifying risks and opportunities.
• Preparing Board of Directors and executive-level materials that synthesize business performance, strategic priorities, and financial outlook into clear and actionable narratives.
• Supporting Strategy Deployment activities by translating long-range planning objectives into annual planning priorities and measurable business goals.
• Structuring and evaluating the financial impact of enterprise growth initiatives, connecting strategic investment priorities with long-range planning and performance reporting.
• Supporting capital allocation decisions through the development of business cases, financial models, and investment analyses to assess risk, return, and strategic value.
• Delivering strategic analyses, insights, and special projects for senior finance and business leaders, applying analytical rigor and structured problem-solving to complex business challenges.
To be successful in this role you will:
• Have a degree-level education or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Have significant experience in Finance, including demonstrated experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform complex financial and operational data into meaningful business insights.
• Have experience preparing executive, Board-level, or senior leadership presentations and reports with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and strategic relevance.
• Have knowledge of long-range planning, forecasting, scenario modeling, and integrated business planning processes.
• Have experience developing business cases and supporting investment evaluation activities, including financial techniques such as NPV, IRR, and payback analysis.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple functions and levels of the organization.
• Have proficiency in MS365 applications and financial analytics tools, with the ability to leverage digital solutions to improve planning and decision-making processes.
• Have experience working within a global matrix organization and demonstrating strong organizational skills while managing multiple priorities.
