UR Thompson Gastroenterology clinic is looking for a nurse with advanced clinical skills to join our team. This RN must be resourceful, creative and be able to make independent decisions within their scope of practice.
Schedule: Full time, M-F 8am-4:30pm, working out of the Marilyn Sands Outpatient Clinic at the Hospital.

Main Function:
Responsible for telephone triage and patient education
Provides quality patient care under the guidance of the providers
Assess, plan and evaluate nursing care

Job Specific Competencies:
Skill in provision of care to patients of the Gastroenterology
Ability to collect, document and access data in the electronic medical record
Telephone triage
Qualifications:
Current NYS RN license required
Current Infection Control Certificate required
BLS certification required
