Job Description:

Pay Range: $80,000 to $100,000

SCOPE:

Manages practice activities and assigned operational area, including overseeing and coordinating all Front Office functions. Serves as a liaison between practice manager, physicians, patients, and staff at home site and other New York Oncology Hematology sites. Assists with the development of practice objectives to ensure financial profitability through short and long range planning in order to achieve and maintain growth. Continually evaluates practice strategies and plans to meet changing national, state, and local needs, in conjunction with executive leadership team as needed. Supports and adheres to the New York Oncology Hematology's Core Values, Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develops and establishes policies, procedures, and objectives. Ensures their adequate execution, compliance, and updates.

-Analyzes general and specific business conditions as they relate to operational issues and advises supervisor on these matters.

-Within scope of authority, oversees the development of systems (both manual and automated) to properly support practice-wide activities based upon business needs.

-Coordinates surgical procedures by managing doctor calendars, booking operating rooms, obtaining insurance authorizations, and instructing patients on pre-operative requirements.

-Ensures biopsy slides, reports and other pertinent information is available prior to the surgery date.

-Meets proficiency standards in use of all operating systems and can perform all front end functional roles.

- Ensures the office is adequately staffed, floats staff between functional areas as needed and coordinates with Supervisors at other sites to arrange float coverage.

-Promotes effective communication and adequate information flow within the practice.

-Prepares periodic reports as necessary or required.

-Oversees practice compliance with appropriate accreditation body standards.

-Oversees all site staff in conjunction with department leaders.

-Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in healthcare management or related business field. Minimum three years' experience in healthcare management, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
