Office Manager We are seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented
Automotive Office Manager to oversee the administrative and accounting operations of two automotive dealership locations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely and compliant payroll processing, supporting dealership management, and coordinating administrative functions across both stores.
The ideal candidate has strong automotive dealership office experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and
strong knowledge of payroll processing and payroll taxes. The ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work effectively with employees and management is essential.
Pay - $125k-$145k DOE
Schedule - Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities- Oversees daily office and administrative operations for two automotive dealership locations.
- Manage the Payroll Administrators that process semi-monthly payroll, including hourly, salary, commission, bonus, and incentive compensation.
- Ensure timely payroll submission and funding.
- Review payroll for accuracy, including timekeeping, deductions, commissions, bonuses, PTO, benefits, and other adjustments.
- Coordinate payroll tax filings, reporting, garnishments, unemployment requirements, and other payroll-related compliance responsibilities.
- Work closely with dealership management, department managers, and employees to resolve payroll and compensation questions.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, deposits, cash handling, and other office accounting functions.
- Reconcile bank accounts, floorplan-related transactions, schedules, and other dealership accounts as applicable.
- Monitor and maintain accurate accounting schedules and assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Coordinate with outside payroll providers, accountants, auditors, benefits providers, and other vendors as needed.
- Ensure dealership office procedures comply with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll, employee, financial, and other sensitive business information.
- Prepare reports and provide management with accurate financial and operational information.
- Establish and maintain consistent administrative procedures across both dealership locations.
- Identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and implement solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Support dealership leadership with special projects and other administrative responsibilities as needed.
Experience- 3+ years of automotive dealership office, accounting, or administrative management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive dealership payroll, including commissions, bonuses, incentives, deductions, and variable compensation.
- Demonstrated experience processing payroll and understanding payroll taxes, employee deductions, benefits, PTO, garnishments, and year-end reporting.
- Strong understanding of dealership accounting and office processes.
- Experience supporting or managing administrative functions for multiple departments or locations.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office/accounting software.
- Experience with dealership management systems and payroll platforms preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee compensation and company financial information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with dealership leadership.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
- Knowledge of applicable employment, payroll, and wage-and-hour requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; accounting, business, or related education is a plus.
