OCI Developer, Mid

The Opportunity: 

You’ll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You’ll work with your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you’ll grow your skills in areas like AI while developing critical systems for the defense industry. 

You Have: 

  • 3+ years of experience using software with a cloud-first development approach

  • 3+ years of experience with OCI enterprise solutions, including on-premise or hybrid solutions

  • 1+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata Database, security policies, security groups, and network security

  • 1+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform or OCI Resource Manager

  • Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration

  • Experience developing and maintaining advanced OCI solutions

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in a software engineering or IT technical role in lieu of a degree

  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification within 30 days of hire date

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation

  • Experience with system migration from AWS to OCI

  • Experience with OCI AI, ML, and LLM offerings

  • Experience leading technical initiatives in large-scale environments

  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements

  • OCI Certifications such as OCI Architect or OCI Developer Certifications

  • IAT Level II+ Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certifications

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
