Qualifications

• Current occupational therapist license in Indiana or eligibility for licensure; NBCOT registration preferred.
• Successful completion of DOJ/FBI Livescan background check and TB clearance required; must be eligible to work in the US.
• Preferred experience in school environments or treatment settings for students with learning or social-emotional challenges, including IEP involvement.
• Knowledgeable in sensory integration techniques and supportive practices for students with disabilities; certifications in Pro-Act, CPI, or CPR are advantageous.
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treatment plans for students aged birth to 22 based on their individual needs and goals.
• Provide guidance and support as a resource for educators and families throughout the district.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and assessments.
• Manage time off requests to align with school operations and minimize disruption to services.
• Oversee and mentor occupational therapy assistants (COTAs) as necessary.
