Occupational Therapist (Pediatric Outpatient Clinic)
Union City, CA | Full-Time or Part-TimeWe are seeking a
Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing outpatient clinic in
Union City, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment alongside Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, and experienced Occupational Therapists while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
Responsibilities- Evaluate pediatric clients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services for children with developmental, sensory, neurological, orthopedic, and motor delays.
- Address fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-help, feeding (if applicable), and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, physicians, educators, and families to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home programs and strategies to maximize progress.
- Complete evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a positive, engaging, and therapeutic clinic environment.
QualificationsRequired- Current California Occupational Therapist License.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current NBCOT certification.
Preferred- Pediatric experience (fieldwork or professional experience welcomed).
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for working with children and their families.
