Occupational Therapist (Pediatric Outpatient Clinic)
Union City, CA | Full-Time or Part-Time


We are seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing outpatient clinic in Union City, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment alongside Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, and experienced Occupational Therapists while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate pediatric clients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services for children with developmental, sensory, neurological, orthopedic, and motor delays.
  • Address fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-help, feeding (if applicable), and activities of daily living.
  • Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, physicians, educators, and families to ensure coordinated care.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on home programs and strategies to maximize progress.
  • Complete evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain a positive, engaging, and therapeutic clinic environment.
Qualifications

Required
  • Current California Occupational Therapist License.
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current NBCOT certification.

Preferred
  • Pediatric experience (fieldwork or professional experience welcomed).
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for working with children and their families.
