Overview

HealthPro Heritage has a great Full Time Occupational Therapist at Woodleigh Chase in Fairfax, Virginia! 

  • Need: Float position between Woodleigh Chase, and Braddock Glen or Silas Burke 
  • Compensation: $45-$48 per hour 
  • Sunrise at Silas Burke: Beautiful Assisted Living and Memory Care facility 
  • Woodleigh Chase: Brand new Independent Living Community with a really nice dedicated rehab space
  • Sunrise of Braddock Glen: Highly-rated Assisted Living Community
  • Hours: 30+ hours per week

 What You’ll Do:

  • Empower residents to regain independence and improve quality of life
  • Create personalized treatment plans and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team
  • Support daily activities, adaptive techniques, and cognitive rehab
  • Bring compassion, creativity, and clinical expertise to every session
Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment: Patient Assessment: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
  • Treatment and Education: Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients' goals and enhance their functional abilities. Educate clients and their families on improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Advocacy and Support: Advocate for clients' needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and accommodations.
Qualifications
