Who You Are: You are a motivated Occupational Therapist who shares our vision of delivering in-home care. You treat patients in a caring and compassionate manner and help them achieve their goals of staying in their own home whilst receiving treatment.
Travel: This role comprises 100% travel within our service region. You will be traveling to patients' homes.
Service Region: We have several counties that we service across Northern California specifically Butte County, Shasta County and Yuba Sutter counties and surrounding communities.
Schedule: We are hiring for Full-Time 40 hours per week M-F 8am-5pm or Part-Time/Per-Diem role of between 10-20 hours per week, with the possibility of expanded hours in the future.
Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform the following duties successfully:
3 Evaluate patients upon physician diagnosis3 Assess patient and identify deficits impacting self-care, functional mobility, behavior, cognition and patient's ability to function in their life's role3 Deliver occupational therapy to patients in their own homes3 Help patients improve their motor skills, coordination, and balance through therapeutic exercises and activities3 Assist patients in developing or regaining daily living skills, such as dressing, bathing, and eating3 Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices to enhance their independence3 Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, social workers, physical therapists and speech therapists, to coordinate patient care3 Monitor and document patients' progress during therapy sessions
Essential Requirements:
3 One year experience as a home health care provider3 Current California State license as an Occupational Therapist and stays updated through independent study and continuing education3 Current CPR certification3 Valid California Driver's License3 Eligible to be insured under our liability policy with a clean DMV report3 Your own vehicle and proof of current auto insurance3 COVID vaccinated or have an exemption. PPE is provided to all employees

3 Demonstrated technical competence and accountable for work output.3 Demonstrates proficiency in performing occupational therapy procedures and modalities and in assessing the effects of these3 Demonstrates sensitivity with patient, family, and their medical team3 Ability to work with others, at all levels within the organization, and collaborate effectively.3 Above-average interpersonal, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills.3 Professional behavior when on duty3 Ability to maintain patient records and able to organize daily schedule
Physical Requirements: Conditional upon job offer is successfully passing a medical exam. Physical requirements for this role specifically include
3 Sits, stands, bends, lifts, walks, and moves intermittently during working hours.3 Able to lift to 50 pounds without assistance.3 Able to drive intermittently on a daily basis
Compensation:
Pay range is $55.00 to $65.00 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
