Job Description

Provides occupational therapy services to patients ranging from the adolescent to the elderly who may have physical, medical and/or psychological disorders and who may be receiving services on an inpatient basis. Therapists are responsible for evaluating patient needs, establishing treatment plans and providing treatments/services accordingly. In collaboration with the COTA, works with patients on an individual basis using current technology treatment techniques and modalities consistent with department policies. Responsible for developing and facilitating specialized treatment programs as appropriate to meet patient needs.

Schedule:
  • Full-time | 72 hours every two weeks | Onsite
  • Days | 8-hour shifts | Clinic hours Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm and Friday 7:30am-4:30pm.
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:30-5:30pm, Wednesdays 12:30pm-5:30pm, Fridays 7:30am-4:30pm
  • No nights, weekends, or holidays!

Pay and Benefits:
  • Starting pay begins at $80,0190.16 per year and increases with experience
  • Salary range: $71,676.80-$107,556.80 per year
    • Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy and successful completion of clinical training required.
  • Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy obtained within 6 months.
  • Registered through the State of Minnesota as a Licensed Occupational Therapist or Temporary Occupational Therapist permit required with Occupational Therapist license obtained within 90 Days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card per established policy.
  • Prior experience must provide clear evidence of clinical skills beyond basic entry level for the position in which the applicant is applying for.

Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire. CentraCare hiring incentives to include but not limited to, hiring and relocation bonuses may be discontinued at any time. Relocation bonus must meet distance requirements. Full-time or Part-time status may impact bonus amount.
