Full Job Description
We are looking for a Occupational Therapistto join the team at Park View Care Center, in Wells, MN! Park View Care Center is in a rural environment that offers a calmer atmosphere and less stress, allowing you more opportunities to build a full caseload quickly.

We offer a competitive wage, benefits, and up to a $7,500 bonus paid out over 18 months or tuition reimbursement. New grads are welcome to apply!

Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position with a flexible start and end time

Wage Range: $45 - $55 / hour depending on experience.

Bonus: $7,500

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:
  • Assess & Evaluate Patients: Conduct evaluations to understand patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs affecting daily activities.
  • Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized intervention programs to improve independence in daily tasks and work-related functions.
  • Provide Therapeutic Activities: Guide patients through exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training to enhance motor skills and coordination.
  • Educate & Support Patients & Families: Provide patient and caregiver education such as but not limited to: coping strategies, home modifications, and techniques to improve quality of life and independence.
  • Monitor Progress & Adjust Plans: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify treatment approaches as needed.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work with doctors, physical therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and have a bachelor's degree.
  • Must possess a current Accredited MN Occupational Therapy (OTR) License
  • Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
  • Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
