Occupational Nurse

Hourly rates starting at $39.00+ DOE

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! EMT FULL-TIME Opportunity

We're hiring a Nurse that is passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and basic patient care in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate, treat, and report occupational injuries.
• Treat all injuries promptly by providing daily care and supplies and instructions for use at home as necessary.
• Maintain medical records for all injuries reported.
• Manage Medical Surveillance Program.
• Monitor AED equipment for proper functioning.
• Monitor near-miss reporting with particular emphasis on working safe and safe work conditions.
• Manage health and wellness programs at this facility.
• Evaluate working conditions, practices and culture for this facility.
• Monitor and Evaluate Early Return to Work Program
• Drug/alcohol Screening program for random, DOT, return to work and post-accident.
• Perform baseline testing with new employees.
• Oversee testing programs.
• Monitor DOT driver files for needed medical testing and driver certifications.
• Strive to reduce cost and recordability by early treatment and intervention.
• Confer with Medical Director as needed.
• Provide medical information and support to employees as necessary or requested.
• Monitor employees for compliance with required physicals.
• Seek out learning opportunities to expand knowledge base, in related fields.
• General employee assistance.
• Treat all employees with dignity and respect.
• Comply with Mississippi Board of Nursing regulations

Minimum Required Qualifications:
