Description

Position Overview

The OB/GYN Physician will provide the full scope of obstetric and gynecologic care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative environment with strong subspecialty support and shared hospital coverage.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, including prenatal, delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic services
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of women's health conditions
  • Perform surgical procedures consistent with training and experience
  • Collaborate with MFM specialists, OB Hospitalists, and subspecialty providers for coordinated patient care
  • Participate in shared call coverage
  • Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely medical documentation
  • Adhere to clinical protocols, quality standards, and patient safety initiatives
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices
  • Build and maintain strong patient relationships and contribute to practice growth


Supervisory Responsibilities
  • May provide clinical oversight to Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants), nursing staff, and medical assistants as applicable
  • Participates in mentoring, training, and onboarding of clinical staff as needed

Qualifications

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS)
  • Familiarity with collaborative care models including MFM and OB Hospitalist programs
  • Interest in clinical quality improvement or research initiatives

  • Exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and bodily fluids
