Description
Position OverviewThe OB/GYN Physician will provide the full scope of obstetric and gynecologic care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative environment with strong subspecialty support and shared hospital coverage.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, including prenatal, delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic services
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of women's health conditions
- Perform surgical procedures consistent with training and experience
- Collaborate with MFM specialists, OB Hospitalists, and subspecialty providers for coordinated patient care
- Participate in shared call coverage
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely medical documentation
- Adhere to clinical protocols, quality standards, and patient safety initiatives
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices
- Build and maintain strong patient relationships and contribute to practice growth
Supervisory Responsibilities- May provide clinical oversight to Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants), nursing staff, and medical assistants as applicable
- Participates in mentoring, training, and onboarding of clinical staff as needed
Required Skills & Competencies- Strong clinical knowledge across the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology

Qualifications- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program
- Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
Preferred Experience- Experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS)
- Familiarity with collaborative care models including MFM and OB Hospitalist programs
- Interest in clinical quality improvement or research initiatives
Work Environment- Combination of outpatient clinic, hospital, and surgical settings
- Exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and bodily fluids
- Fast-paced clinical environment requiring adaptability and critical thinking
- Regular interaction with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
Salary Description
$400,000-$600,000
