Responsibilities

  • Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Design, deploy, and troubleshoot complex reports using Crystal Reports and various data sources.
  • Develop code with Microsoft Visual Studio using .Net Core framework, ASP.Net, C#, MVC, JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, and XML.
  • Prepare and modify Oracle database scripts including tables, indexes, constraints, triggers, and stored procedures.
  • Utilize TFS for source code management and version control.
  • Report task status and outstanding issues to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to translate requirements into technical models.

Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Expert Systems Developer within our teamNYS Office for Mental Health Team located in Albany, NY. This position is a 30 month contract with a 50% on site requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  2. Design and deploy complex reports, and diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports utilizing the Data warehouse and other data sources as needed.
  3. Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 or higher and write code using .Net Core framework, ASP.Net, c#, MVC ,JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, XML
  4. Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.
  5. Use a source code repository, such TFS for checking source code in and out, and branching off new versions of the source code.
  6. Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor.
  7. Interact with business analyst and technical team to translate requirements into technical models.


Qualifications:

84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 84 months Experience developing web-based applications using C#, ASP.NET, Angular. for n-tier web deployment.
  • 84 Months Experience Designing and deploying complex reports, troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports 10 or higher (NOT SSRS) , utilizing the Data warehouse or any other source of data.
  • 84 months Experience with Oracle: Database design, PL SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc.with Oracle 10g or higher using ORACLE PL/SQL.
  • 84 months experience developing and maintaining web applications that utilize HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets.
  • 48 Months Experience developing applications with MVC 5 or later versions.
  • 36 Months Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010 or later, for development activities and code repositories.
  • 36 Months experience coding and maintaining applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).


The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the hourly range is $ 50 .00 - $ 55 .00.
