Nursing Home Administrator (NHA)

Location: Cherry Hill Nursing and Rehab | Westland, MI

Schedule: Full-Time

Cherry Hill Nursing and Rehab is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to lead our skilled nursing facility in Westland, MI. This leadership role is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the facility while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate is committed to providing exceptional resident care, operational excellence, and fostering a positive work environment for staff.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations and overall management of the skilled nursing facility
  • Ensure the facility maintains the highest standards of resident care and quality outcomes
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs and regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Lead preparation for and successful completion of annual state surveys
  • Manage financial performance, budgeting, and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with physicians, department heads, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional resident care
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment for residents, staff, and visitors
  • Develop, implement, and enforce facility policies and procedures
  • Recruit, mentor, and support department leaders while promoting employee engagement and accountability

Qualifications
  • Current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing in the State of Michigan or the ability to meet all applicable state licensure requirements
  • Previous experience as a Nursing Home Administrator in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility required
  • Strong leadership, organizational, financial, and communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of federal and state regulations governing long-term care facilities
