Position SummaryThe
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership and daily operations of our Skilled Nursing Facility. Working in partnership with the Director of Nursing and clinical leadership team, you will drive operational excellence, strengthen quality measures, develop future leaders, and create an environment where employees and residents thrive.
This position is ideal for an experienced administrator who can successfully lead through change, build strong teams, and provide exceptional care for residents with complex medical, behavioral health, and psychiatric needs.
Responsibilities- Direct all operations of the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
- Partner with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary leadership team to achieve exceptional clinical and financial outcomes.
- Build, coach, mentor, and retain high-performing department leaders.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care.
- Lead teams through organizational growth and changing healthcare environments.
- Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations and ensure continuous survey readiness.
- Oversee Medicare, Medicaid, quality measures, census development, and operational performance.
- Build strong relationships with hospitals, referral partners, physicians, residents, families, and the community.
- Champion employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and continuous quality improvement.
Qualifications- Current Missouri Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum three years of leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting.
- Demonstrated success leading interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Experience caring for residents with behavioral health diagnoses, psychiatric disorders, dementia, and medically complex conditions preferred.
- Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, reimbursement, Quality Measures, and the State Survey process.
- Excellent leadership, communication, financial management, and organizational skills.
