Administrator
Full-Time | Exempt | Executive Leadership Role
We are seeking an experienced and accountable Administrator to oversee the overall operations of the facility. This role is responsible for regulatory compliance, financial performance, clinical collaboration, staff leadership, and ensuring high-quality resident care across all departments.
This position is ideal for a strong operational leader who understands long-term care, values compliance and structure, and can lead teams with clarity and consistency.
Responsibilities
• Provide overall leadership and direction for facility operations
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Oversee department heads including Nursing, Business Office, Social Services, Dietary, Environmental Services, and Maintenance
• Monitor financial performance, census, budgets, and operational metrics
• Support survey readiness, surveys, and plan-of-correction development
• Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and resident-centered care
• Ensure effective staffing practices and departmental coordination
• Address resident and family concerns and support positive outcomes
• Maintain effective communication with corporate leadership and external partners
• Ensure policies and procedures are implemented consistently across departments
Qualifications
• Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in the state or eligible to obtain
• Prior Administrator or senior leadership experience in long-term care preferred
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and survey processes
• Proven leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements
• Office and facility-based work throughout the day
• Standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility as needed
• Ability to respond to emergencies and operational needs
