Lake Worth, Florida is seeking an experienced
Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator / Nursing Home Administrator to lead facility operations and oversee the day-to-day performance of the building.
This opportunity is for an established SNF leader with a strong understanding of Florida skilled nursing operations, staff management, census development, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience working as an Administrator of a skilled nursing facility in Florida.Key Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership and operational oversight of the skilled nursing facility
- Lead and support department heads across nursing, admissions, social services, rehabilitation, dietary, environmental services, and business office operations
- Maintain high standards for resident care, customer service, and facility operations
- Monitor facility census, admissions, staffing, expenses, and overall financial performance
- Work closely with the Director of Nursing to maintain strong clinical operations
- Recruit, develop, and retain effective department leaders and staff
- Establish clear expectations and accountability across departments
- Maintain ongoing survey readiness
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and facility requirements
- Oversee plans of correction and follow-up initiatives when necessary
- Monitor quality measures, resident satisfaction, staffing performance, and operational outcomes
- Develop strong relationships with residents, families, employees, referral partners, and the local healthcare community
- Support admissions and census development initiatives
- Review budgets, labor, expenses, and facility performance
- Partner with ownership and regional leadership on operational goals and performance improvement
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator in Florida required
- Active Florida Nursing Home Administrator license in good standing
- Proven experience managing skilled nursing or long-term care operations
- Strong understanding of Florida SNF regulatory and survey requirements
- Experience overseeing facility financial performance, staffing, census, and department operations
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop department heads
- Strong knowledge of quality improvement and survey readiness
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, employees, and referral partners
