Indiana University Health Medical Group- Metro Region is hiring! We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urology team at IU West Hospital & IU Health University Hospital. This role focuses on providing care to a diverse adult urologic patient population, with a primary emphasis on female urology. Position Details: - Full-time, Days - Monday-Friday; 8am-4:30pm - No holiday, weekends, or call - 100% Outpatient - Patient volume: 45-60/wk - Team includes 18 physicians and 24 APPs; working directly with 1 physician and 2 APPs - Patient population: diverse adult urologic population, with a specialized focus on female urology and neurogenic bladder - Procedures include: suprapubic catheter changes, indwelling foley catheter changes, irrigation, urodynamic testing, percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation and possibly cystoscopy in the future - Practice locations include: IU Health West Hospital in Avon, IN & IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN Responsibilities: - Provide safe and effective care for a diverse urologic patient population - Complete clinic visits and documentation in a timely manner - Engage in patient education, coordination of care and timely management of subsequent result communication - Foster growth and education in the clinic environment by being a resource for clinic support staff - Collaborate with practice physicians and APPs ensuring the appropriate continuation of care for patients - Participate in APP monthly meetings and professional development activities such as attending optional weekly learning opportunities Qualifications: - AGNP, AGACNP, FNP, or PA Board Eligible or Certified - 1 year of prior APP experience preferred; Preferred urology experience - Will consider new APP graduates IU Health offers a value-based package that includes: group insurance (health, dental, life, disability), 401k with company match, generous PTO, CME allowance/time off, relocation assistance, and malpractice insurance coverage.
