Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Minnesota.
• Certification from a recognized national body (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA).
• Preferred experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery or surgical specialty.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to satellite locations.
• Open to new and experienced graduates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and care.
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
• Provide immediate post-operative care and wound management.
• Counsel patients on pre- and post-operative instructions.
• Collaborate with surgeons and another Nurse Practitioner.
• Travel to satellite offices as needed and participate in shared on-call duties.
