Nurse Practitioner/PA job details:Position Details:- Full time
- 40 hours per week
- M-F 7:00am - 4pm
Primary role is:- Provide comprehensive care to patients within the inpatient setting.
Essential Job Duties:• Completes the routine physical assessment using common assessment skills in a systematic manner.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
• Records physical findings, formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
• Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician.
• Respects patients' rights, including the right to inform, privacy, confidentiality, and the right to refuse care.
• Assists with patient education to promote self-care and patient independence.
• Follows company policies and procedures and department protocols.
Qualifications:• Graduate from an accredited MSN or PA program
• Must have Indiana RN license.
• Must have active APRN or PA/CSR license or be eligible for licenses.
• AANP, ANCC or PA certification
License/Certification:• BLS certification
