Shift Details

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts (Monday - Thursday + 1 Friday per month)
• On-Call Requirement: TBD
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) - Oncology is responsible for managing oncology and infusion patients, providing comprehensive care including assessment, treatment, follow-up, and coordination of care.
This role requires strong oncology subspecialty experience and the ability to work independently in a patient-centered, quality-driven healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
• Conduct patient examinations and assessments
• Manage oncology and infusion patients
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostics
Patient Care & Coordination
• Provide consultation, follow-up, and referrals
• Ensure continuity of care across treatment phases
• Support patient-centered oncology care
Quality & Compliance
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Support patient satisfaction programs
• Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Team Collaboration
• Work with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to organizational and departmental goals
• Maintain effective communication with care teams
Must-Have Qualifications (NP)
• Minimum 2+ years of Oncology subspecialty experience
• ANCC or AANP Certification (Required)
• Active Colorado NP License (Required)
• DEA License (Required)
• AOCNP Certification (Required)
Must-Have Qualifications (PA)
• Certified by NCCPA (PA-C Required)
• Active Colorado PA License (Required)
• DEA License (Required)
• Oncology experience (Required)
Preferred Qualifications
• Oncology certification for PA (Preferred)
• Experience in infusion and outpatient oncology settings
• Strong patient care and clinical decision-making skills
