Full Job Description
About the Role:

To provide oversight for infusions being administered in our ambulatory infusion centers.

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Saturdays as needed.

Service Areas: Savannah, GA. May float to nearby clinics as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience/Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program and Active Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state(s) of practice.
  • Experience in family physician setting; possesses strong knowledge of chronic disease states as well as current and emerging therapies.
  • BLS or obtained upon hire.
  • Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
  • Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.

Essential Functions:
  • Assist with managing adverse drug reactions (ADRs).
  • Assist with policy, procedure, and protocol development as needed.
  • Able to work as a team member with all members of PIS. Working alongside with nurses and other NPs/MDs.
  • Able to perform nursing functions as needed.
  • Oversee the infusions being administered in the AIC.
  • Travel to other AICs when needed for staffing coverage.
  • Maintains strong knowledge of all existing and developing infusion therapies.
