Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dedicated
Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our clinical team in
Joliet, IL. In this role, you will deliver high-quality primary care, preventive care, and occupational health services to adult patients.

Key Responsibilities - Clinical Care & Procedures: Conduct comprehensive physical exams, preventive health screenings, and clinical procedures (injections, suturing, wound care, infection management).
- Diagnostics & Treatment: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe appropriate therapies/medications, and refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Care Planning: Develop tailored patient care plans, monitor patient progress, and maintain meticulous, up-to-date Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care, and assist in coaching/educating nursing staff on clinical best practices.
- Patient Education: Counsel patients on health maintenance, medication management, and ongoing wellness plans.
Schedule Details - Fixed Weekly Hours:
- Monday & Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No weekend shifts required.
Requirements - Education: Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN). (Note: If diploma does not explicitly state "Nursing," official transcripts will be required).
- Licensure & Certifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Illinois with State Prescriptive Authority.
- Active Federal DEA license (Illinois registration).
- Active Illinois Controlled Substance License (IL CS license).
- National Board Certification via ANCC or AANP.
- DOT Certification (NRCME) is REQUIRED.
- Current BLS certification with hands-on training (AHA, ARC, or equivalent). ACLS may be required depending on scope.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience as an NP in Ambulatory Care, Occupational Health, Family Practice, or the Emergency Department.
Preferred Skills - Prior background in Family Practice or Occupational Medicine.
