About the Role:

The Nurse Practitioner will serve as a vital healthcare provider within a multidisciplinary team, delivering comprehensive family medicine services across diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals experiencing trauma or chronic pain. This role focuses on conducting thorough clinical assessments to diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, ensuring patient safety and promoting optimal health outcomes. The Nurse Practitioner will develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and provide education and support to patients and their families. Emphasis is placed on pain management strategies and trauma-informed care to enhance quality of life for patients with complex needs. Ultimately, this position aims to improve community health by delivering accessible, evidence-based, and compassionate nursing care in accordance with Canadian healthcare standards.

The full-time equivalent (FTE) for this position is anticipated to be 0.5 FTE or greater, with eligibility for benefits based on the applicable FTE threshold.

Minimum Qualifications:
