Position Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner works under physician supervision, providing medical services including patient histories, physical exams, and treatment plan implementation. Duties include mentoring, professional development, training, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments, physical exams, and order diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with clinical protocols.
  • Monitor therapeutic interventions and coordinate patient care with healthcare providers.
  • Ensure compliance with medical quality standards and regulations.
  • Attend training sessions and participate in outreach activities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers and attend treatment team meetings.
  • Maintain knowledge of current drug abuse trends and treatment.
  • Assist nursing team and report any workplace hazards or security issues.

Qualifications:
  • Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of employment.
  • Maintain a current DEA license and CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • Experience or understanding of chemical addiction preferred.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and efficient work ethic.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
