Responsibilities About the RoleAs a
Nurse Practitioner, you'll play an essential role in delivering patient-centered care, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing health management.
You will:
- Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Conduct diagnostic and follow-up evaluations.
- Provide compassionate, age-appropriate care to patients and families.
- Document accurately and timely across all encounters.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to continuous patient-care improvement.
- Serve as a clinical resource and collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals.

QualificationsEducation/Training- MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing required.
Licensure/Certification- ARNP license in the state of Alabama.
- After July 1, 2006, licensure applicants are required to have national advanced certification from an approved nursing specialty board.
- Maintains current BLS certification
