Position Summary:Assists the Primary Care Physicians in providing medical services to patients in specialized areas such as Family Practice, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and Obstetrics/Gynecology.
Essential Functions of the Job:- Examines patients and diagnose illness.
- Assists or performs routine laboratory, screening, and therapeutic procedures.
- Facilitates the physician's referral of patients to the appropriate health facilities, agencies or resources of the community.
- Administers medication to patients according to established policies.
- Coordinates the preparation of reports and written documentation including medical records, as required by the department, company, state and federal agencies.

Job RequirementsExperience Required:- Preferred: 2 years of primary care experience after completion of clinical training
Education Required:- Licensed Nurse Practitioner
Certifications Required:- RN license and CPR Certification
Verbal and Written Skills Required to Perform the Job: - Good oral and written communication.
Technical Knowledge and Skills Required to Perform the Job:Equipment Used:- Electrocardiogram Spirometry
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:- May be required to work evenings or weekends.
- Travel to any satellite facilities.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Frequent sitting.
- Must be able to work in an outpatient clinic setting with moderate noise levels and controlled office temperatures.
