Qualifications

  • Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Minimum of two years supervisory or management experience.
  • Five years of Coronary Care Nursing and/or Cardiovascular Lab experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge required.
  • Proficient in interpreting EKGs and hemodynamic pressure tracings.
  • Able to operate Cardiovascular Laboratory equipment including pressure injectors and hemodynamic monitors.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required for all new hires after 1/11/2021.

  • Direct activities of Cardiovascular Laboratory Services.
  • Administer, plan, and evaluate Cardiovascular Laboratory staff to ensure quality care.
  • Develop goals, policies, and procedures for the lab.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee compliance with safety and operational protocols.

Responsibilities

Manager of Cardiovascular Lab directs the activities of the Cardiovascular Laboratory Services. Administers, plans, directs and evaluates the activities of the Cardiovascular Laboratory employees to ensure quality patient care. Develops goals, policies and procedures. Participates in performance improvement activities.

  • Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-(AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.
  • Five (5) years of Coronary Care Nursing and/or the Cardiovascular Lab.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Proficient in interpreting EKGs and hemodynamic pressure tracings.
  • Operates Cardiovascular Laboratory equipment; pressure injectors, hemodynamic monitor, cardiac output computer, etc.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for all new hires after 1/11/2021.
