Job Summary and Qualifications- You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in PACU/Pre- Op Holding Area/Pre Admission Testing by maintaining safe staffing patterns and delegation of staff assignments based on skill and patient acuity
- You will actively interface with ancillary departments on a daily basis to identify/ solve patient issues
- You will be medically responsible to the Department of Anesthesia and report to the Director of Perioperative Services
What qualifications you will need:- Current California RN license required
- Completion of Basic Arrhythmia course required
- BCLS and ACLS Certificatio, PALS required
- CCRN or CPAN preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- AA Degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
- Minimum three years of experience in PACU or Critical Care Units
- Minimum one-year management experience in a PACU or Critical Care
- Must demonstrate excellent computer skills and teaching/coaching skills
