AgeSpanThe pay range for this position is $85,800 - $89,700/year. At AgeSpan, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining rate of pay. Actual rate of pay depends on factors including but not limited to internal equity, experience, and qualifications. Position Summary: The Nurse Manager will develop and implement strategies to establish/promote professional nursing practice that is evidence based or evidence informed, consumer centered, and interdisciplinary. The Nurse Manager will provide leadership to the Nursing Department and will assist in identifying innovative practices, systems and processes to improve the care delivery system. The Nurse Manager will lead or act as a major contributor to nursing activities related to quality initiatives, consumer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. The Nurse Manager manages the delivery of health-related programs and services within the agency. This includes responsibility for Personal Care service through Home Care as well as programs with a significant health component such as CHOICES, Enhanced Community Options Program, Clinical Eligibility and Assessment Services, HCBS Waiver, Personal Care Attendant, and Accountable Care Organizations. The Nurse Manager works in partnership with the Home Care Managers to promote an interdisciplinary approach to assure that consumers receive appropriate service plans and interventions.
Essential Functions: - Collaborates with Homecare Managers to orient new AgeSpan, Inc. Nurses, as well as other agency staff as appropriate, to Personal Care practice/procedures, Clinical Assessment and Eligibility Screenings, Universal Precautions, and documentation standards.
- Assures compliance with all program regulations.
- Participates in the performance evaluation process for AgeSpan, Inc. nurses at six months for new nurses, and annually thereafter.
- Oversees and conducts all Quality Assurance activities related to the Nursing Department. Provides support to AgeSpan, Inc. Nurses and Care Managers as needed around identified quality assurance issues.
- Manages all clinical aspects of the Home and Community Based Waiver Program.
- Provides oversight for the Clinical Assessment and Eligibility program.
- Provides clinical oversight for the Personal Care Attendant program.
- Provides supervision to the Administrative Assistants for the Nursing programs.
- Works collaboratively with Homecare Managers, Homecare Directors, and/or Chief Program Officer as needed to implement new initiatives.
- Participates in developing, maintaining, and updating written policies and procedures.
- Makes recommendations for the improvement of clinical care and the health of the workplace and welcomes and participates in change initiatives.
- Attends regional and statewide meetings, committees, and work groups related to nursing practice and/or initiatives.
- Attends Nursing management and supervisor meetings. Conducts Nursing staff meetings.
- Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN required, MSN preferred.
- Minimum three years nursing experience required; community experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
