Job Description:Intro:Implements nursing activities for occupational health services and ensures compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
What You Will Do:- Provides on-site nursing care for employee safety in the workplace; investigates accidents and inspects any health or safety hazards.
- Ensures the implementation of occupational health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations.
- Provides health and safety awareness information to promote overall employee health in the workplace.
- Assists in initiating and coordinating patient care plans for a client company.
What You Have :•
Education/Experience: Accredited Registered Nurse (RN) degree, current state Registered Nurse (RN) license, and current CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)/First Aid certification.
• Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) Compliance: Knowledge of regulations and standards regarding the occupational safety and health of personnel working within an organization; ability to apply relevant regulations and standards to daily work activities.
• Nursing Assessment and Care - HNU: Knowledge of the policies and activities regarding nursing assessment and care; ability to assess patients' nursing care needs, develop and implement a nursing care plan, monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary.
• Diagnosis: Knowledge of the techniques, roles, and responsibilities in assessing and diagnosing patients; ability to apply the knowledge appropriately assess and diagnose patients in diverse situations.
• Medical Devices and Tools: Knowledge of medical devices and tools; ability to use medical devices and tools in order to evaluate and treat patients.
What Will Set You Apart :- Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Medical Record Keeping: Knowledge of the concepts, methods, tools and applications used in medical record management; ability to document, manage and maintain patient medical records following established processes and guidelines.
- Clinical Leadership: Knowledge of key business and clinical leadership concepts relevant to the healthcare function; ability to balance business needs with the needs of patients' and patient care priorities.
- Office Support Tools: Knowledge of commonly used office hardware, software and equipment; ability to use the tools available at the desktop (for example: word processing, email, presentation software, and spreadsheets.)
Additional Information:M-F day shift position with core hours being 7.00AM-3.30PM
Summary Pay Range:$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
