Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist
The successful candidate:Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with a rotating on-call schedule.
Job Responsibilities:Professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for:
- Patient assessment relative to the performance of Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures.
- Promotion of radiation safety.
- Demonstration of safe and effective patient care.
- Preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and the performance of scanning procedures for both inpatients and outpatients, working under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Radiologist.
- Preparation and administration of therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and microspheres under the direction of a Board-Certified Radiologist.
Minimum Qualifications:- Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine.
- A.R.R.T. registry in Nuclear Medicine or N.M.T.C.B. registry.
- Licensed in the State of Illinois.
- BCLS CPR Certification.
