Job SummaryWe are seeking a
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our
Family Medicine team in San Marcos, TX. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care in a collaborative outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a wide range of patient needs and building long-term relationships within the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide full-scope primary care including preventive services, acute care, and chronic disease management
- Perform patient evaluations, physical exams, and routine screenings
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Educate patients on wellness, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care
Qualifications- Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- Previous experience in family medicine or primary care preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Schedule & Compensation- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Outpatient only
