Responsibilities

Job Summary

Howmet Aerospace has an immediate opening for a Tooling Manufacturing Engineer in our Tooling Business Center at our Engines Products - Tempcraft Operations located 3960 South Marginal Road, Cleveland, OH. This position is responsible for leading and coordinating all new product introduction activities from design through manufacturing for tooling used in the production of engine components.

Job Requirements

NPI Leader
  • Collaborates with the customer's designers and engineers to develop product designs that are manufacturable with reliability in Howmet processes.
  • Working closely with tool and die makers to develop manufacturing plans that ensure efficient production and high-quality tool production
  • Tracking NPI jobs through manufacturing to resolve any issues that arise during production
  • Developing new manufacturing technology in support of process and product improvement
  • Ensuring that processes meet all Howmet Safety standards for both operation and product reliability
  • Supporting operations with design, and programming for production jobs when there is time available

Salary Range: $68-98,000 salary approximation (actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).
