Full Job Description

Reporting to theDirector, Research andDevelopment,theNPD Project Manageris responsible forleading project teams of engineers, scientists, and developers in crafting the next generation of X-ray analyzers at XOS. The R&D Project Managerwill own end-to-end delivery of NPD initiatives and will have overall responsibility for project planning and execution. Project success is measured on cost, schedule, and product performance. The candidate should share our passion or innovation and our commitment to building phenomenal products for our customers.

This position is part of theResearch and Development teamlocatedinEast Greenbush, New York,and will beonsite.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

 Oversee planning and execution of NPD projects 6 responsible for project target including, quality, OTD, and cost  Lead planning and implementation of product development projects  Facilitate teams to define project scope, budget, schedule, risk, and technical feasibility  Define project tasks and resource requirements  Set up agreements with key project vendors  Ensure adherence to project budget, schedule, and performance requirements  Provide direction and support to project team  Track project risks and lead implementation of mitigating actions  Other duties as assigned by management

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Engineering or technical background (degree or equivalent experience) with the ability to translate engineering requirements into executable project plans and guide engineering teams through delivery

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, crossfunctional projects with defined timelines, deliverables, and measurable outcomes

  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple workstreams simultaneously, meeting committed deadlines in fastpaced environments

  • Track record of identifying process gaps and implementing datadriven improvements across product or project lifecycles

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $90000 - $105000 USD per year.
