Description Position Summary MemorialCare Medical Foundation is looking for experienced Physician Assistants and/or Nurse Practitioners to work at MemorialCare Medical Group urgent care clinic in Huntington Beach, CA. This is a full-time benefited position working a 3x12 schedule, including two weekend shifts each month.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job General Duties: - Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
- Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Formulate a differential diagnosis and establish a working diagnosis
- Implement therapeutic intervention for specific conditions requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation by the supervising physician or other healthcare professionals
Qualifications: - Must have completed an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Current, active, unrestricted licensure as a Physician Assistant or NP
- Working experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred
- Licensed to practice in California
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- DEA number
Base salary range: $132,000-$167,000+*
