Responsibilities

  • Ensure the quality of the Avenues Medical product.
  • Conduct medical training for facility medical personnel.
  • Consult on high-acute client cases with facility providers.
  • Provide coverage during provider time off and for on-call duties as needed.
  • Audit charting, medical operations, and staff performance to drive quality and efficiency.
  • Manage risk through compliance and adherence reviews across all Avenues locations.
  • Facilitate ongoing communication and support between corporate leadership and local facilities.
  • Hold department development meetings to assess progress and drive improvement plans.

Full Job Description
Now Hiring a NP / PA / Physician - Addiction Medicine to provide clinical leadership, oversight, and support across our multi-site network, ensuring excellence in patient care, operational consistency, and evidence-based substance use and behavioral health treatment.

  • Location: Corporate office in Lakewood, NJ with occasional remote work (up to 1x weekly as needed)
  • Travel: Minimum travel of 2x per month in addition to telehealth as needed
  • Hours: Full-time, standard business hours with flexibility for emergencies and rotating after-hours on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Take responsibility for the quality of the Avenues Medical product
  • Provide medical training to facility medical personnel
  • Consult with facility providers on high-acute client cases
  • Provide coverage for provider time off and on-call as needed
  • Audit charting , medical operations workflow, protocol adherence, and medical staff performance to drive quality and efficiency
  • Provide risk management through the ongoing review of compliance and payor standards and ensuring its adherence at all Avenues locations
  • Maintain ongoing support and engagement between corporate leadership and local facility operations.
  • Conduct department development meetings, execute improvement plans, and evaluate progress to inform facility agendas and development project

Qualifications:
  • Education: Post Masters medical training, psych and substance use specialties preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in substance use with co-occurring mental health and medical treatment; MAT and Withdrawal management,
  • Skills: Strong communication, master of medical intervention and medication management, ability to train, and organized
  • Certifications: MD, NP, PA, with current licensure in at least 1 state we operate in and ability to secure licensure in all states we operate in (or most)
