Job Summary
The Division of Gastroenterology at Massachusetts General Hospital is looking for an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) join our fast-paced, ambulatory, academic gastroenterology practice. Under the supervision and direction of the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Manager for gastroenterology, pancreatic/biliary attending physicians and the physician Director of the pancreatic/biliary team, and in accordance with the rules and regulations of Massachusetts governing nurse practitioner and physician assistant practice, the APP will play an important team role with care delivery and continuity for patients with general GI, pancreatic & biliary conditions.
The APP will be clinically based with 8 (4-hour) clinical sessions weekly with 2 (4-hour) administrative (non-patient facing) clinical sessions. Some clinical sessions may be used to triage patients for endoscopic procedures. Working closely with a dedicated team of physicians, APPs, nurses, medical assistants, and patient care coordinators, the APP plays a critical role in delivering direct patient care. The APP will participate in a team-based care approach to see patients diagnosed with various GI disease and disorders. The APP will be responsible for new, urgent and follow up visits.
Education
Master's Degree Nursing/Physician Assistant required

Experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant 0-1 year preferred
