Job Summary

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team in New Braunfels, TX. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care in a collaborative outpatient setting while also supporting patients with select obstetrical needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building long-term patient relationships and delivering high-quality care across a broad patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive family medicine services, including preventive care, acute visits, and chronic disease management
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan
  • Perform wellness exams, routine screenings, and follow-up visits
  • Manage common primary care conditions and coordinate specialty referrals as needed
  • Support obstetrical patients as part of a collaborative care team
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, medications, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care
Qualifications
  • Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
  • Previous family medicine or primary care experience preferred
  • Obstetrical experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based environment
