Job Description

Join our team as a Nuclear Materials Control & Accountability (NMC&A) Specialist and play a key role in supporting a mission-critical program. In this dynamic role, you'll help maintain the integrity, efficiency, and compliance of NMC&A processes across the site. If you enjoy problem-solving, collaborating with diverse teams, and contributing to essential nuclear materials safeguards, this position offers a meaningful and exciting opportunity.

What You Will Do

You will support key NMC&A activities by working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate use of measurement systems and provide technical assistance that strengthens regulatory compliance and overall program efficiency. In this role, you'll help update the Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan (FNMCP) as processes evolve, deliver training on essential NMC&A topics, and prepare and review control charts to maintain reliable program performance. You'll also oversee the testing and calibration of equipment used to measure nuclear materials, manage actions within a corrective action tracking system, and uphold all safety requirements while performing your work. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the success of the NMC&A program.

Pay

Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $62,248-107,080. This position is Bonus eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. While the posted range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position, compensation above the range may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience.
