Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Data Architect III with 7 – 10 years of experience and a TS/SCI Clearance to support The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) -Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract III Mission

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a data architecture to ensure the integrity, availability, and reliability of technical baselines and artifacts.
  • Develops and maintains data management plans and processes (e.g., data acquisition, validation, and storage; documenting data lineage and enforcing data protection protocols.
  • Collaborates with systems engineering, cybersecurity, and configuration management staff to ensure systems integration.
  • Supports establishing naming conventions, metadata structures, and access control policies.
  • Supports audit readiness and continuous improvement of data management practices.
  • Works in close Coordination EDLM/UDLM (Emergency/Urgent Depot Level Maintenance) manager

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors in IT, Cyber, CS, IS, Data Science, or SW Engineering OR equivalent DoD/Military training

Clearance: Top Secret/ SCI

Certifications: Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP certification.

Experience: 7-10 Years

  • Experienced in database administration, tuning, and security of large-scale, mission-critical databases. 
  • Has expertise in backup and recovery strategies, log analysis, user account management, and incident response. 
  • Proficient in database management systems, scripting, and automation tools. 
  • Has strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with other technical staff in a high-security, high-availability setting.

Pay Transparency StatementAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $113,400.00/Yr. - USD $189,300.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
