In this role you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting supporting our Title team in a variety of ways that could include performing title examinations, analyzing various data points, verifying key information, and collaborating with customers, attorneys, and lenders. This position plays a key role in making the dream of home ownership a reality.
In this role, you will exhibit analytical, strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. The Title Officer is responsible for effectively accomplishing the real estate closing transaction and ensuring title insurability.
What You’ll Do
3 Collaborate a0with lenders, bank attorneys, and borrowers to resolve issues a0impacting a0title insurability prior to closing.
3-Review title commitments to confirm accuracy of the chain of title and identify title issues for residential refinances.
3-Analyze a0various a0records such as mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, corporate/LLC and estate documentation to a0determine a0ownership a0and a0legal restrictions. a0
3-Collaborate with underwriting to find solutions and navigate title issues.
3-Prepare title policies, affidavits and other closing documents in FAST.
3-Verify that title insurance rates and coverage provided on the title commitment are given a0in accordance with a0instructions received by the insured parties of the transaction and a0in accordance with a0state guidelines.
3-Communicate with Title Closers to help ensure a smooth closing and follow up with parties for any trailing documents after closing.
What You’ll Bring:
3 2-5 years title related real estate experience
3 Flexible with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to handle all aspects of title support a0
3 Passion for helping customers while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
3 Excellent verbal and written communication with both our internal team and external customers; adapting styles as needed
3 Problem solver with strong organizational skills, is detail oriented, and has a natural curiosity with an eagerness to learn and share
3 Thrives in contributing to a team working together to deliver beyond customer expectations
3 Comfortable guiding and supporting future talent learning the business
3 Knowledge of MS Office suite and ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies
3 High School diploma or equivalent
Pay Range: $33.70 - $44.93 HourlyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
